Strength Training And Cardio On The Same Day?

Ever wonder if you could be more efficient with your workouts?

Do you have time in your day to schedule a cardio workout and a strength training workout on the same day?

Do Cardio or Weight Training? And if you do, should you be strength training or doing cardio every day?

And if you are doing both on the same day, which should come first?

Cardio first? Strength training first?

Well, it depends on your goals.

One of my loyal newsletter subscribers wonders this very thing and actually asked what it is that I do from day to day with my own workouts.

So, here’s a sneak peak into how I work out, and some clarification about efficient ways to get the most out of your workouts.

One other thing to keep in mind when it comes to strength training daily is that if you’re doing it right and lifting heavy, your muscles need a day of recovery between workouts. So, if you’re going to strength train every day, make sure you’re doing a split routine so the muscle groups you just worked can rest while you train other muscle groups the next day. Trying to do a full-body strength routine daily won’t provide enough recovery for your muscles so keep full-body strength sessions separated by a day of cardio or rest.
